Born and bred in  Bochum and now residing in Zebediela Limpopo. Matriculated at Motse Maria High School in 1994,. Obtained a B cur degree from the former university of the North (Turfloop campus)  in 1998 now University of Limpopo. Obtained two postgraduate diplomas at the university of Pretoria, Diploma in Nursing administration. diploma in Nursing education in 2003 and 2004 respectively. Qualified as an advanced midwife at Chris Hani Baragwanath nursing college in 2005. I obtained my Masters degree with the university of Limpopo in 2010 and my PHD in Nursing at the University of Pretoria in 2020. I also obtained an assessor and moderator certificate(s) at the University of South Africa in 2020 and 2021 respectively

I am a professional nurse and midwife with 24 years experience in clinical practice. Worked as a professional nurse and advanced midwife at George Masebe hospital in Waterberg district of the Limpopo Province. Worked in Lebowakgomo hospital as an advanced midwife and acting operational manager of maternity ward. Joined the University of the Frees state in 2020
