Research

My current research includes the investigation of the impact that gold tailings dams in the Free State goldfields have on the surrounding environment and possible remediation there of.

Area(s) of Interest

  • Mineralogy
  • Environmental geochemistry
  • Analytical methods and sample preparation
  • Biochemical remediation
  • Au-tailings dam geochemical processes
