Registration in Four Easy Steps

STEP 1

Confirm Your Academic Standing

Log into your Academic Data Summary (ADS) via PeopleSoft Campus Solutions to check your academic eligibility.

STEP 2

Complete Your Registration Task

Register for your modules and agree to the registration terms online. Remember to enrol for the correct campus and qualification.

STEP 3

Download Student Documents

Save your Proof of Registration for future use and check your timetable on Kovsielife Student Self-Service.

STEP 4

Confirm Your Modules on Blackboard

Modules will appear on Blackboard within 24 hours after registration.

If they don’t, contact the Blackboard Helpdesk at ehelpdesk@ufs.ac.za.

Academic Preparation and Guidance

Your faculty will announce its curriculum advice schedule. Use this opportunity to review your module choices and progression requirements.

If you haven’t yet passed your Critical Academic Literacies (CAL) module, check with your faculty whether you still need to complete it – this module is a graduation requirement..

Fees and Funding

Regardless of your study level, please take note:

Your 2025 account balance must be zero before registration.
The first payment is due five (5) working days before registration.
NSFAS and fully funded students are exempt only if funding is confirmed and covers all study costs.
International students must pay the first payment regardless of funding.
