Culture Day

On Saturday 17 February 2012, Soetdoring hosted their multi-cultural day to celebrate the diversity of the residence. Each cultural group had to prepare a traditional dish – from pancakes to mopane worms.

 

 

Cultural Renewal Day

Each residence has a Cultural Renewal Day. This event is concerned with developing residences to grow towards inspirational space. Inspirational spaces deals with the expression of a shared as well as a unique identity and emphasise the importance of relationships between residence members. During these cultural renewal sessions, an action plan is formulated in order to help residences move toward their own established values within these inspirational spaces.
