Frequently used in health-related disciplines of medicine and nursing, the Journal Club IDEA can be used in a variety of classroom settings and content areas.A Journal Club can help students improve their knowledge and reading habits (Deenadayain, Grimmer-Somers, Prior, & Kumar, 2008). Within and outside of health disciplines, Journal Clubs offer students a chance to read, respond and discuss current research.
