Brian Hogg, an associate professor in Jazz at the North Kentucky University in Carolina in the United States of America, recently wowed staff and students of the University of the Free State (UFS) with his mesmerizing live performance during a free lunch-hour concert at the Odeion Amphitheatre on the Main Campus. This internationally renowned saxophonist performed with, amongst others, Noel Stockton and the UFS Big Band. He spent two weeks on campus giving master classes to music students and the UFS Big Band, courtesy of the Department of Music. |
