The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Dr Blade Nzimande, MP, has authorised NSFAS to open the 2020 application season for student funding from 1 September - 30 November 2019.

HIV/Aids Centre celebrates life!

During a colourful event of diverse talent, which included from hip-hop, soul and pop to Afrikaans music, the University of the Free State’s (UFS) HIV/Aids Centre recently held a concert with the theme Celebrate life, Keep HIV/Aids out of the future. Some of the groups that performed at this event include Reach, Basic Soul, Enigma and Sonnedou’s Sêr Group. Chizano, a fifth-year medical student, further entertained the audience with her beautiful voice. Here is a colourful picture of the students who enjoyed the concert.
