The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Dr Blade Nzimande, MP, has authorised NSFAS to open the 2020 application season for student funding from 1 September - 30 November 2019.

Rector meets Free State business sector

2009-10-23

The Marketing Division at the University of the Free State (UFS) recently hosted “Breakfast with the Rector” at Oliewenhuis in Bloemfontein. The event was attended by about 55 representatives from the corporate sector. In his address the Rector and Vice-Chancellor of the UFS, Prof. Jonathan Jansen (pictured), extolled the virtues of the UFS while expressing his optimism about its future prospects. He said the support of business, big or small, was very important in assisting the university to move forward in its quest to be the best.
