The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Dr Blade Nzimande, MP, has authorised NSFAS to open the 2020 application season for student funding from 1 September - 30 November 2019.

147 UFS first-years boast with six or more A’s

One hundred and forty-seven of the first-year students registered at our university this year had obtained six or more A's in their Grade 12 end-of-year examinations.
This is the largest number of first year students with this quality qualifications registered at our university in years.
