Opening of 2020 National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) applications

The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Dr Blade Nzimande, MP, has authorised NSFAS to open the 2020 application season for student funding from 1 September - 30 November 2019.

Department of Paediatrics and Child Health recently received a donation

The University of the Free State's (UFS) Department of Paediatrics and Child Health recently received a donation of R27 000 from Vodacom. The Department is involved in the care of babies and children who need special medical care. This includes children with cancer, heart diseases, neurological sickness and children who need intensive care such as premature babies.
