Opening of 2020 National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) applications

The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Dr Blade Nzimande, MP, has authorised NSFAS to open the 2020 application season for student funding from 1 September - 30 November 2019.

Presentation on the future of SA agribusiness sector

A presentation on the future of the South African agribusiness sector was recently held by the Agribusiness Chamber at the University of the Free State (UFS) on invitation from the UFS Department of Agricultural Economics. The presentation was sponsored by First National Bank.

Some of the guests attending the presentation were from the left Mr Olu Oyewumi (M Sc-student at the UFS Department of Agricultural Economics), Mr Dirk Esterhuizen (presenter of the talk from the Agribusiness Chamber), Ms Nonophile Nkambule (M Sc-student at the UFS Department of Agricultural Economics) and Prof André Jooste (chairperson of the UFS Department of Agricultural Economics).
