Opening of 2020 National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) applications

The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Dr Blade Nzimande, MP, has authorised NSFAS to open the 2020 application season for student funding from 1 September - 30 November 2019.

Successful entrepreneur visited UFS

2005-11-28

Mr Douw Steyn (founder and chairperson of Auto & General) and Mr Gert Grobler (SA Ambassador in Spain) visited the University of the Free State (UFS). Mr Steyn is regarded as one of South Africa's most successful entrepreneurs and recently received a visiting professorship from the UFS School of Management. Mr Grobler was last year awarded a Cum Laude award from the Kovsie Alumni Association for his success in the international diplomatic world.
