The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Dr Blade Nzimande, MP, has authorised NSFAS to open the 2020 application season for student funding from 1 September - 30 November 2019.

Melano Walters, a Brebner High School pupil, was one of 14 finalists in the University of the Free State (UFS) 2015 Matriculant of the Year competition. The aspiring doctor is excited to studying Medicine (MBChB) at the UFS School of Medicine.
