The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Dr Blade Nzimande, MP, has authorised NSFAS to open the 2020 application season for student funding from 1 September - 30 November 2019.

International Office completes planning sessions

The International Office of the University of the Free State (UFS) has recently completed two strategic planning sessions on a draft strategic plan to guide internationalisation during the next three to five years. The internationalisation function at the UFS is currently being reviewed and redirected following the adoption of the policy and the business plan on internationalisation. Staff members from the International Office who attended one of the training sessions were, from the left: Ms Louise Steyn, Mr Sukreet Hullowan, Ms Cecilia Sejake and Ms Jeanne Niemann.
