The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Dr Blade Nzimande, MP, has authorised NSFAS to open the 2020 application season for student funding from 1 September - 30 November 2019.

Academic to address an international congress

2007-08-08

Prof Rob Bragg (pictured) from the Department of Microbiology, Biochemistry and Food Biotechnology at the University of the Free State (UFS), will address the World Veterinary Poultry Association congress in Beijing, China, from the 12th to the 16th of September 2007. This biennial congress is the main showcase for leading international researchers in poultry diseases. Prof Bragg will deliver seven presentations which include research work carried out by his postgraduate students.
