KovsieApp
Download the KovsieApp today!

Update your cellphone number via the Self-Service page on the KovsieLife Student website to download and use the KovsieApp.

Did you know that the UFS has its own mobile app? Download or update the KovsieApp now while connected to our on-campus Wi-Fi to receive real-time and urgent communication via push notifications in the app. You can use the app for free while on the UFS Wi-Fi network on any of the three UFS campuses (Bloemfontein, South, or Qwaqwa Campuses), but it will use a small amount of your own data to send notifications if you are off campus.

However, please note the following: It is imperative to ensure that your cellphone number is correct on the UFS system, otherwise you will not be able to log into the app to access your personal information, nor will you be able to receive critical notifications.

Please follow these guidelines in order to update your contact details

If you are experiencing any difficulties with this process, contact the ICT Service Desk to log a SolveIT incident by calling +27 51 401 2000 or sending an email to ufs@service-now.com. Non-technical queries can be sent to kovsieapp@ufs.ac.za. Once downloaded, please do not disable your notification settings, otherwise you will not receive the real-time urgent communication from the UFS on the app.
