Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Convocation of the University of the Free State (UFS) to deal with the following matters:

UFS celebrates with its law students

Recently the Faculty of Law at the University of the Free State (UFS) held a cocktail function on the Main Campus to celebrate the achievements of the law students who represented the university at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot competition in Vienna, Austria, last month. The UFS team was ranked 46th out of 177 universities from all over the world. One of the students, Deman Smit, received an individual oralist award and an honourable mention as one of the best speakers in the competition. Team members who attended the function were, from the left, front: Lucian Campanie, Dee Leboela, Sunette Visser and Hanno Bekker; back: Vicky Olivier and Deman Smit.
