The annual final-year Fine Arts graduate exhibition promises to once again entice even the biggest of art enthusiasts. The exhibition, which runs until 1 April 2021, highlights the artworks/projects of final-year students in the Department of Fine Arts.

Young scientists learn more about what the UFS can offer them

Young science lovers recently gathered in Sasolburg for the annual Sasol TechnoX. The exhibition of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences at the University of the Free State (UFS) captured the learners’ attention through an interactive representation of the application fields of science. Delegates from the Departments of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Chemistry, Zoology and Entomology as well as UFS Marketing stood ready to answer the questions of the 20 832 learners who attended the event. Picture here is Theo Viljoen, MSc student in Forensic Entomology at the UFS, sharing interesting facts regarding insects with learners.
