The annual final-year Fine Arts graduate exhibition promises to once again entice even the biggest of art enthusiasts. The exhibition, which runs until 1 April 2021, highlights the artworks/projects of final-year students in the Department of Fine Arts.

Service learning research day

The Centre for Higher Education Studies and Development (CHESD), recently presented a Service Learning Research Day. Some of the presentations delivered included “Preparing students for life: The role of service learning and critical reflection” and “Can science and service learning marry?”, presented by the couple Mr Dawie and Ms Deidré van Jaarsveldt. At the research day were, from the left: Dr Luzelle Naudé, Lecturer in the Department of Psychology, Dr Teresa Carmichael, University of the Witwatersrand, and Prof. Mabel Erasmus, Head of the Division Service Learning at CHESD and co-ordinator of the research day.
