UFS staff member included in SA hockey practice team

Lesley Ann George, secretary in the Office: Corporate Relations, Institutional Advancement and Sport at the University of the Free State (UFS), has been included in the South African senior women’s hockey team that are going to practise in Beijing, China from 27 May 2010 to 18 June 2010, in preparation of the World Cup in Argentina and the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, India.
Lesley Ann, Vice-Captain of the team, says that they are also going to play twelve matches against China. She is currently the captain of the UFS first women’s hockey team. |
