Children of UFS academic graduate on the same day

Prof. Fanie Snyman of the Department of Old Testament in the Faculty of Theology at the University of the Free State (UFS), opened the graduation ceremony with scripture reading and prayer on the specific day that his son and daughter received their respective degrees. His son, Rev. Gawie Snyman (left) of the Hugenoot Dutch Reformed congregation in Bloemfontein north, received his M.Th. Degree in New Testament and his daughter, Ms Rika Snyman received her LLB. degree as well as the prize for the best thesis. The autumn graduation ceremony is taking place on the Main Campus in Bloemfontein this week.
