As a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Education program at the University of the Free State (UFS), I wanted to share my experience and the significant impact of the Digital Skills and Competencies short course offered by the university.

During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to complete all three levels of the course - Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. This comprehensive program equipped me with a wide range of digital skills that are highly valued in the workplace, regardless of profession.

The course has been instrumental in shaping my approach to various tasks and projects. The skills I acquired have enhanced my productivity, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. I strongly believe that this course should be compulsory for all UFS students, as it provides a solid foundation for success in today's digital age.

Key Benefits:

1. Enhanced employability: The course has significantly improved my chances of securing employment.
2. Practical skills: The program provided me with hands-on experience and practical skills that are directly applicable in the workplace.
3. Versatility: The digital skills I acquired are transferable across various professions and industries.

Recommendation:

I would like to recommend that the Digital Skills and Competencies course be made compulsory for all UFS students, from beginner to advanced levels. This would ensure that graduates are well-equipped to meet the demands of the modern workplace and stay competitive in their respective fields.

Thank you for considering my recommendation. I hope that my experience will inspire and inform the university's approach to digital skills training.

Sincerely,
