Siyaphumelela

The University of the Free State forms part of the Kresge Foundation funded Siyphumelela project , which focuses on promoting student success and the use of data analytics in South African higher education institutions. CTL plays a central role in developing data analytics for student success, including conducting learning- and predictive analytics, tracking and nudging at-risk students, implementing the use of a case management system for academic advising, and providing data analytic training to capacitate staff.
