Career Opportunities

Our programme will prepare you for a career in the broad entertainment industry, including the professional stage, industrial theatre, television and film industries, as actor, theatre-maker, dramatist, director or producer, stage manager, lighting designer, lighting operator, sound operator, décor and costume designer, make-up artist, theatre management and arts management. Other avenues include marketing, events management, radio and voice work even motivational speaking. The possibilities are endless.

Completing a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education), you can also enter education as a teacher in Arts and Culture or Dramatic Arts.

You can also continue with your postgraduate degree: BAHons, MA or PhD in Drama and Theatre Arts. Students can also do a BAHons or MA in Film and Visual Media. With a PhD, and sometimes a MA, you can apply for a teaching position at a university.

Most importantly, our programme is designed in such a way that you will be able to create your own work. It is not a case of "will I get a job?", it is rather "when do I start?!".
