The Faculty of The Humanities, along with the Faculties of Law, Agriculture and Natural Sciences, and Health and Economic and Management Sciences held their annual Tutor End-of-Year function to honour the best tutors in the New Academic Tutorial Programme (NATP) at the UFS Centenary Complex on 28 October 2009.

It was during this prestigious event that Marike Potgieter of the Department of English in the Faculty of the Humanities won the second place as best tutor. The Faculty of the Humanities came second and third in the overall results, with Melanie Nel (Department of Psychology) as third runner-up.

The tutors at our Qwaqwa Campus also shone brightly as the best tutor was in the Faculty of the Humanities. Miss Motshidisi Nzapheza from the Department of Political Science was named the Best Tutor in the Humanities and as the overall NATP Qwaqwa winner.

We are truly proud of our tutors and look forward to establishing our faculty as the leader in innovative thinking and great achievements.
