Postgraduate Diploma in Governance and Political Transformation

It is on NQF Level 8 with 120 credits in total. Duration is one (1) year.

Learners must complete eight modules, which include:

  • Ethics
  • Religion and Governance
  • Municipal Governance
  • Comparative Analysis
  • South African Governance
  • Corporate governance
  • Law and Governance
  • Governing Change

The Admission Requirements for the Postgraduate Diploma is a B-degree or four-year National Diploma with an average of 60% for the previous qualification.

Information on contact sessions:

The Postgraduate Diploma will be conducted through contact sessions. Students must visit the Bloemfontein Campus to attend the different classes and lectures. Students are asked to visit the campus twice a year for at least a week. Maps and a list of possible guesthouses are provided to the students.
