Short CV

Nontombi Velelo holds a Masters degree in Sociology; B.Soc.Sc. Hons. degree (Sociology); B.Soc.Sci (Human and Societal Dynamics) from the University of the Free State (Bloemfontein, South Africa). She started her career as a facilitator at the Department of Sociology, University of the Free State (Bloemfontein) and is currently a Junior Lecturer at the same university. She coordinates the following modules:  Family Sociology, Industrial Sociology and Gender and Environment. Nontombi is currently towards her PhD that is concerned with African men`s construction of masculinity and fatherhood.
