The Faculty of Theology at the University of the Free State’s (UFS) Jonathan Edwards Centre enjoys a good deal of prominence on the Yale University’s web page. This occurrence is another realisation in the UFS Faculty of Theology’s pursuit of being an international acknowledged theological faculty.

The UFS Jonathan Edwards Centre serves as a research, education and publication hub for the study of Edwards and evangelical history. Jonathan Edwards was an important American theologian, philosopher and, more specifically, America's greatest contributor to mission theology in Southern Africa.
