The Lengau Agri Development Centre at the University of the Free State (UFS) recently presented a farmers day to emerging farmers in co-operation with the Free State Department of Agriculture and the Mangaung Local Municipality. The topics that were discussed were cattle breeding, cattle health and vaccination of cattle, and castration. Demonstrations on branding and dehorning were also done.
