In an exciting collaboration between the University of the Free State (UFS) and MVG Productions, theatre enthusiasts are in for a treat as the UFS and MVG present My Fellow South Africans, a satirical sketch comedy written by the renowned playwright Mike van Graan.
A unique blend of humour and truth
Featuring the talented Kim Blanche Adonis, this performance promises a gripping experience that combines humour with uncomfortable truths. Political and social commentator Ebrahim Fakir, writing for News24, described it as "a provocative satirical sketch comedy," while writer Sylvia Vollenhoven hailed the show as a "brilliant performance with an excellent script".
Set against the backdrop of South African society, My Fellow South Africans delves into the heart of contemporary issues with wit and insight. Musician Nomsa Mazwai urged every South African to watch this performance before heading to the polls next year, emphasising its relevance in the national dialogue.
