The much-anticipated 2024 Vice-Chancellor's Concert at the University of the Free State (UFS) will bring together an impressive line-up of exceptional talent comprising staff, students, and alumni for a musical extravaganza that promises to keep you spellbound.  This year’s concert guarantees an extraordinary evening, celebrating the spirit of community, camaraderie, and legacies that resonate through time.

The line-up includes award-winning multidisciplinary artist, Lynelle Kenned. Renowned as a leading opera singer and an acclaimed cross-over musical theatre performer, Kenned boasts an impressive array of accolades, including a 2023 Fiesta for Best Classical Music presentation, 2022 Woordtrofee, the Kunste Onbeperk Young Voice 2019, a 2018 Naledi Award, a Fiesta Award in 2017, and a Fleur du Cap Award in 2016. Since 2012, she has been a television presenter on Pasella, subsequently hosting other shows on KykNET and VIA respectively.

You can also look forward to performances from the Odeion String Quartet, the Eunice Girls' High School Choir; Dr Joseph Kunnuji; Corniel Muller; Lucy Sehloho; the UFS choir conducted by Werner Stander; Ella Kotze; Dr Patricks Otomo; among others.
