The voting process to elect two (2) representatives from the Convocation (neither employees nor students of the UFS) to the UFS Council commenced on 7 November 2024 at 14:00 and closed at 14:00 on 27 November 2024.

In terms of the results presented by V4 Creative (Pty) Ltd (who managed the online voting process), the following two Convocation representatives on Council obtained the most votes and have thus been elected by the Convocation to serve for a period of four (4) years on the Council of the UFS:

• Mr Jerry Thoka
• Dr Alina Ntsiapane
