A conference on national and international perspectives on trafficking in human beings was presented by the Faculty of Law at the University of the Free State (UFS) on the Main Campus in Bloemfontein today. Topics such as an international perspective and the role of organised crime in trafficking, identifying and assisting victims of trafficking and the role of witness protection in trafficking prosecutions were discussed.
