George Foster, a PhD student at the Odeion School of Music, presents one of his doctoral examination recitals. He will be accompanied by Eljee du Plooy (organ) and Lesley-Ann Mathews (piano).

Top concert pianist, Leslie Howard, will present master classes on Friday, 23 September 2011, from 9:30 – 11:00 in the Odeion. The two candidates who will perform, are Richard Rheeder and William Earl. Richard will perform Sigismond Thalberg’s Grande Fantasie sur des Motifs de l’Opera Don Pasquale de Donizetti, Op. 67 and William will perform Scarbo from Ravel’s Gaspard de la Nuit.
