For their 2020 season the UFS award-winning Odeion String Quartet immerses to the pinnacle of quartet repertory to mark Ludwig van Beethoven’s 250th anniversary. The programme is a carefully curated amalgamation from the composer’s late quartets, including the grand masterpiece, String Quartet No.13, Op.130 in its original form with the “Grosse Fuge” (Op.133), and the Molto – Adagio - Andante III from Op.132 (Holy song of thanksgiving of a convalescent to the Deity, in the Lydian mode).
