George Foster, a PhD student at the Odeion School of Music, presents one of his doctoral examination recitals. He will be accompanied by Eljee du Plooy (organ) and Lesley-Ann Mathews (piano).

Lieder Recital with UFS Alumni

The Odeion School of Music presents a Lieder Recital of popular Lieder and duets from composers Mozart, Schubert, Strauss, Haydn, Schumann and Mendelssohn.

Two sopranos, Marguerite van Wyk and Talita Laubscher, as well as two baritones, Hendré van Zyl and Dolf Mathee will perform favourite Lieder and duets together with pianists Lesley-Ann Mathews and Jana Mathee. These vocalists are all UFS Alumni who are also currently studying with renowned baritone, Werner Nel.
