Puss in Boots, well-known children’s story, will be performed by drama students of the University of the Free State in September. This fantasy comedy tells the tale of a miller’s son, Jack, who inherits his father’s cat, while his brother, Ratzell, inherits the mill, as well as the donkey. Both brothers dream of capturing the Ogre, as the one who succeeds, will secure the troll’s castle and all his possessions. Then Jaco becomes the Marquis of Carabas. Share in the amazing adventure of Jaco and his puss in boots, Katz. Help them conquer the nasty troll, who talks in rhymes, and see how Jaco’s dream of having his own castle comes true.
