George Foster, a PhD student at the Odeion School of Music, presents one of his doctoral examination recitals. He will be accompanied by Eljee du Plooy (organ) and Lesley-Ann Mathews (piano).

MEMBRA JESU NOSTRI (Buxtehude)

The OSM and the Jonathan Edwards Centre Africa (UFS) present an interdisciplinary event with lectures and a performance of Membra Jesu Nostri by Buxtehude.

 

During this unique event short lectures (approximately 35 minutes in total) will be presented by Proff Martina Viljoen, Nicol Viljoen, Adriaan Neele and Mr Lance Phillip.  The performance of Membra Jesu Nostri (after a short interval) will also serve as the public examination recital of MMus choral directing student, Werner Stander.
