The OSM is proud to present its annual Opening Concert.  A highlight on the programme will be a performance of the Concertino for clarinet & chamber orchestra by SA composer Keith Moss, currently residing in Auckland (New Zealand). The Concertino will be recited by the OSM Camerata under the baton of Xavier Cloete.  OSM clarinet lecturer Danrè Strydom will perform as soloist.

The Concertino for clarinet & chamber orchestra was commissioned by the SAMRO Foundation and OSM Camerata for the first International Clarinet Extravaganza (2016) which was hosted by the OSM. Eddy Vanoosthuyse, internationally acclaimed clarinettist, was the soloist for the première. The first half of the programme will consist of performances by top OSM students and lecturers. The detailed concert programme will be announced shortly.
