George Foster, a PhD student at the Odeion School of Music, presents one of his doctoral examination recitals. He will be accompanied by Eljee du Plooy (organ) and Lesley-Ann Mathews (piano).

Harry Talas is a bassist and vocalist from Johannesburg. He is much in demand. Karendra Devroop is a saxophonist who recently returned from the USA. They will perform together with Noel Stockton to kick off the weekend’s festivities. The group will perform Jazz standards such as Misty, Mack the Knife, Cherokee as well as music from Bill Evans, Thelonius Monk and Noel Stockton.

UFS Big Band under the leadership of Paul Loeb van Zuilenburg
This group will provide Entertainment with a capital E!
