Local observations connected to wider networks

MaS-LTSER is designed to make long-term research easier to discover, compare and use. The platform registers site information, research activities and appropriate datasets through the Dynamic Ecological Information Management System - Site and Dataset Registry (DEIMS-SDR).

The platform contributes to national and international long-term research through connections with the International Long-Term Ecological Research Network, SAEON’s Expanded Freshwater and Terrestrial Environmental Observation Network, the Maloti-Drakensberg Transfrontier Programme and collaborating institutions in South Africa, Lesotho and abroad.
