Obakeng Kgwasi (Motlhaping Wa Ga Phuduhutswane from South Africa, North West Province, Taung, at Matlapaneng Village). He is a performing artist, choreographer, director, movement and Bosophytrist theatre practitioner. Studies at North link College 2007 Cape Town Panorama, where he obtained (N4 Marketing Management, N4 Entrepreneur Management N4 Communication Management and N4 Computer Practice). He further pursued with his studies at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) – Drama, Theatre & Film Department, where he obtained National Diploma 2009, Bachelor’s Degree (B. Tech) 2010, and Master’s Degree (M. Tech) 2016. Currently pursuing with PhD (Theatre & Media Arts) at Ambrose Alli University (Nigeria).

Obakeng Kgwasi specializes with movement technique under his coined theatre/ performance  theory and practice titled “Bosophytric Theatre” and African theatre where he explores the body movement of an artist as the most profound, efficient and imperative tool of communication, to establish the relationship between the performer and spectator since the body knows things which about the mind is ignorant to. His global perspective of performance exploration, conceptualization and construction focus on embracing and celebrating African/ South African indigenous knowledge system (IKS) through structures of indigenous arts, culture, sports, heritage and the formulation of cultural policy.
