Important Dates for Submission of dissertations or theses for December 2017 graduation

31 March 2017
: Notice of Submission: A student who intends to submit an MSc dissertation or PhD thesis in view of the degree to be conferred at the December 2017 graduation ceremony, must inform the Registrar via their supervisors/promoters of this intention. This must be done on the specified submission form, which must also be signed by the supervisor/promoter and sent to the relevant officer, namely: Ms Anneke Rossouw at rossab@ufs.ac.za  Please contact Ms Rossouw at IGS for an MS Word version of the submission form.

3 July 2017: Submission of dissertations and theses for the awarding of qualifications at the December  2017 graduation ceremony.

4 September 2017: Submission of recommendation reports to Student Academic Services from Dean's office regarding dissertation and theses.

29 September 2017: Date on which any qualification can be awarded for the December 2017 graduation ceremony.

Final submission of dissertation and theses 'hard copies' to Student Academic Services:  4 weeks prior to graduation date.

7 December 2017: Graduation

3 August 2017: PhD Students –
Compulsory PowerPoint presentation to the IGS Academic Panel if you intend to submit February 2018. Arrangements must be made with your supervisor in advance. 

4 August 2017: MSc Students – Compulsory PowerPoint presentation to the IGS Academic Panel if you intend to submit February 2018. Arrangements must be made with your supervisor in advance.
