Overview of departmental functions
Systems and Project Management function
Systems Management ensures that the student information system is maintained to support the university, and that the system is reliable, compliant, efficient and able to adapt to new needs. Business analysts liaise with various business units (ICTS, SAS, SRS) to ensure business issues and needs are met.
The Project Management function enables the successful delivery of projects. The key functions include project initiation and planning, stakeholder management, resource allocation, monitoring and reporting of tasks in project timelines, strategic and portfolio management, knowledge capture and lessons learnt.
End User Support function
The training function ensures that staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to complete their duties and responsibilities in a responsible manner.
Our two core functions support our Main Strategic goal:
