George Goitseone Molaolwa

 

George Goitseone Molaolwa, widely known as Lebo Molax, is a multi-award-winning entertainment personality and qualified Geohydrologist with four science degrees from the University of the Free State. 

After completing his MSc in Geohydrology in 2017, he joined the Department of Water and Sanitation as a Graduate Trainee and later served as a Candidate Scientist (Geohydrology). In this role, he was responsible for groundwater resource management, municipal groundwater monitoring, borehole assessments, hydrogeological data interpretation, groundwater modelling, legislative compliance, financial oversight, and supervision of technical teams across the Upper Orange and Middle Vaal Water Management Areas. 

He has presented at national and regional groundwater conferences and contributed to groundwater management initiatives supporting municipalities across South Africa. 

In 2025, he founded George The Geologist Group Pty Ltd, where he serves as CEO and Senior Consulting Hydrogeologist, leading hydrogeological investigations, groundwater resource management projects, borehole drilling oversight, water quality testing, and large-scale augmentation initiatives for public and private clients, including the City of Tshwane. 

Parallel to his scientific career, he has built one of South Africa’s most recognisable entertainment brands under the name Lebo Molax, with a combined social media following exceeding four million across platforms. As a Master of Ceremonies, performer, DJ, and founder of Boys in Heels RSA, he has hosted and performed at major national events, becoming a bold and influential cultural figure. 

He seamlessly integrates science, entrepreneurship, entertainment, and leadership, embodying excellence in multiple industries.
