Short CV

Evodia Mohoanyane is the head of the Academic Student Tutorial and Excellence Programme (A_STEP) and a certified Arbinger Facilitator at the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL). She is responsible for providing leadership to teaching coordinators and managing strategic relationships with stakeholders across the institution and externally.

As part of her responsibilities, Evodia has worked with various residence heads at the UFS in providing student support and resources under the Residence Tutorial Programme. She also occupies a secondary position as a residence head of the day residences, Arista and Legatum.

She has completed an undergraduate degree in Statistics, an honours degree in Business Management and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Development Studies.

Evodia also serves as a member of the CTL Management Committee, Language Development Committee, Teaching and Learning Committee and various internal and external committees of the UFS.

Evodia has been a tutor in statistics (Afrikaans and English) at the Department of Mathematical Statistics and in the New Academic Tutorial Programme from 2009 until 2011. She was also a learning facilitator for the UFS 101 module during 2011 and has been involved in various projects in CTL.

Mrs. Mohoanyane and a group of third year students worked together on two service learning projects, namely: Banking the "Unbankable" and Concepts of International Economics.
