Who they are:
The Annual Youth Camp brings together teenagers from the Free State, Northern Cape, North West, Gauteng, and KwaZulu-Natal for a two‑day programme attended by participants from various denominations. The camp combines spiritual activities with workshops on life skills, creating a supportive environment for young people to grow in faith and personal development.
Services offered:
For theology students, the camp offers a vital context to engage with teenagers in a friendly, spiritual, and purposeful setting. It provides opportunities to practise oral communication, ethical reasoning, community engagement, group work, and creative ability, while also transferring knowledge and skills in peer‑counselling through workshops presented to the participants. This partnership with the Department of Practical and Missional Theology situates pastoral training within youth ministry, equipping students to connect meaningfully with the next generation.
