Who they are:
The Pusetso Ya Setjhaba Community Nutrition and Development Centre (CNDC) is a prominent initiative based in Qwaqwa, dedicated to fighting poverty and ensuring food security. Through its feeding programme, the centre provides more than a hundred hot meals to vulnerable families and individuals several times a week, using fresh produce cultivated in its community gardens. Beyond immediate relief, the centre equips community members with important knowledge and practical skills to help alleviate poverty and strengthen resilience.
Services offered:
In alignment with this mission, Community Development final‑year students are placed with the centre for work-integrated learning (WIL). Their involvement enhances the reach and sustainability of the feeding programme while giving students valuable hands‑on experience in community development, nutrition, and poverty alleviation.
