Towers of Hope Foundation

Who they are:
The Towers of Hope Foundation, based in the historic Tweetoringkerk (Two Towers Church) at 37 Henry Street in central Bloemfontein, is a non‑profit congregation serving the city’s vulnerable populations. It provides immediate necessities such as food, runs vocational and needlework programmes, and manages community clean‑ups, positioning itself as a vital hub of care and empowerment in the inner city.

Services offered:
For theology students, Towers of Hope is a key site of practical pastoral engagement. Through the Faculty of Theology and service learning, students perform their pastoral work in this context, focusing on psychosocial care, guidance, and the restoration of human dignity among youth trapped in cycles of poverty.
