Bohlokoa Khanyetsi

Bohlokoa Khanyetsi attained her master’s degree in history at the National University of Lesotho. Her master's dissertation delved into aspects of Southern African history, with an emphasis on Christian missions and healthcare in Basutoland. Her research interests centre on Southern African and cultural history, particularly the interplay between cultural practices and historical events in shaping regional identity. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Linguistics and Environmental History in the Faculty of the Humanities from the National University of Lesotho. She was awarded the National Manpower Development Secretariat scholarship for six years for both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Khanyetsi is a motivated, ardent, vibrant, and focused scholar of the 21st century. While she wrote her masters dissertation, she attended academic conferences and developed co-authored chapters. She has submitted two chapters for publication: Ts’oano ya Sekeresete le Bosotho (The Similarity between the Basotho culture and Christianity) and Bopa bonna (The Construction of Masculinity among the Basotho) in the NIHHS’ project at the University of Cape Town. Her master’s dissertation entitled Christian Missions and Healthcare in Basutoland is published on Google Scholar.
